রোজার ফযীলত (The Importance of fasting)

১) রোজা শুধু আল্লাহ্‌র জন্য তিনি রোজা এর সাথে তার নিজের সম্পর্ককে ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ্‌ তা'লা সকল ইবাদত বন্দেগী থেকে রোজা কে আলাদা মর্যাদা দিয়েছেন। যেমন আল্লাহ্‌ তা'লা এক হাদীস কুদসীতে বলেন, মানুষের প্রতিটি কাজ তার নিজের জন্য, কিন্তু রোজা তার ব্যাতিক্রম, তা শুধু আমার জন্য, আমিই এর প্রতিদান দিবো।

1) Fasting is the only for God that he announced his own relationship with fasting. Allah has given different degrees to the fasting than other worships of Allah. As Allah said in a Hadith Qudsi, people do all their deeds for their own sake, but fasting is only exaggerated, it’s only for me & only I will reward for it.

২) রোজা আদায়কারী বিনা হিসেবে তাদের প্রতিদান লাভ করে থাকে। কিন্তু অন্যান্য ইবাদত বন্দেগীর প্রতিদান বিনা হিসেবে দেওয়া হয় না। রোজা পালনকারী ব্যাক্তিকে তার প্রতিটি নেক আমলের পরিবর্তে ১০ গুন থেকে ৭০০ গুন পর্যন্ত প্রতিদান দেওয়া হয়। সর্বশক্তিমান প্রতিপালক আল্লাহ্‌ যখন নিজেই এর পুরস্কার দিবেন তা কি পরিমান হবে কল্পনা করা যায় না। ইমাম আওযাহী (রহঃ) এ হাদীসে ব্যাখ্যায় বলেছেন, আল্লাহ্‌ রোজা আদায়কারীকে যে পুরস্কার দিবে তা মাপা হবে না এবং ওজন ও করা হবে না।

2) The fasting earner gets their reward without any reason. But other acts of worship are not given reward without charge. The fasting person is rewarded with 10 times to 700 times, instead of each of his good deeds. It can’t be imagined how the Almighty Allah Himself will give its reward. Imam al-Awazhi (Rh) has said in this Hadith that the prize which Allah gives to the fasting people that will not be measured and will never be weighed.

৩) রোজা ঢাল ও কু-প্রবৃত্তি থেকে সুরক্ষা করে। রোজা পালনের মাধ্যমে নবীজী (সঃ) কু-প্রবৃত্তি থেকে বেঁচে থাকার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। তিনি আরো বলেছেন, হে! যুবকেরা তোমাদের মাঝে যে সামর্থ্য রাখে সে যেন বিবাহ করে নেয়। আর যে বিবাহের সামর্থ্য রাখে না, সে যেন রোজা পালন করে। কারন এটা রক্ষা কবচ। রোজা আদায়কারী রোজা রাখার মাধ্যমে তার নিজের অন্তরকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে রাখতে পারে এবং সকল অশ্লীল কার্যকলাপ থেকে নিজের অঙ্গ পতঙ্গকে হেফাজত রাখতে পারে।

3) Fasting protects against shield and mood. The Prophet (peace be upon him) has ordered the survival of mischief. He also said, O! The young men who have the ability among of you, should marry. And whoever can’t afford the marriage, he should fast. Because it is shielded. The fasting people can keep control of their hearts by fasting and keep his or her own limbs safe from all obscene activities.

৪) রোজা জাহান্নাম থেকে বাঁচার ঢাল। হাদীসে আছে, রোজা হল ঢাল ও জাহান্নামের আগুন থেকে বাঁচার দুর্গ (১৮)। বুখারী ও মুসলিমে এসেছে, যে ব্যাক্তি আল্লাহ্‌র পথে রোজা পালন করবে, আল্লাহ্‌ তার থেকে জাহান্নামকে এক খরিফ (৭০ বছর) দূরে সরিয়ে দিবেন। উলামায় কেরাম বলেছেন, আল্লাহ্‌র পথে রোজা পালন করা হল শুধু আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের উদ্দেশ্য রোজা পালন করা।

4) Fasting is the shield of the fire of hell. In the Hadith, the fasting is a shield and it's the strongest fort to protect from the fire hell (18). Discussed in Bukhari & Muslim, the person who fasts in the way to Allah, Allah will remove the hell from him a Kharif (means 70 years) away. Ulama Karam said, fasting on the way to Allah, & it's only the purpose of seeking of Allah's satisfaction.

৫) সিয়াম হল জান্নাত লাভের পথ। আবু হুরাইরা, (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম -কে বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল, আমাকে এমন একটি কাজের নির্দেশ দিন যার দ্বারা আমি লাভবান হতে পারি। তিনি বললেন : ‘তুমি সিয়াম পালন কর। কেননা, এর সমকক্ষ আর কোন কাজ নেই।'[২১] তাই আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তুষ্টির অর্জনের জন্য সিয়ামের সাথে আর কোন আমলের তুলনা হয় না। আল্লাহ্‌ তা'লা সিয়াম পালন কারীদের জন্য জান্নাতে "রাইয়ান" নামে একটি দরজা নির্দিষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন। যা কিনা সিয়াম পালনকারী ছাড়া অন্য কেউ এই দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করিতে পারিবে না।

5) Fasting is the way to gain Paradise. Abu Hurayrah said, "I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), O Messenger of Allah, order me to do something which make me benefited." He replid: 'You can start fasting. Because there is no other equal to this’ [21]. Therefore, there is no comparison with fasting for the sake of Allah's satisfaction. Allah has fixed a door named "Raiyan" in Paradise for those who fast. None other than the fasting can enter through this door.

৬) সিয়াম ইহকাল ও পরকালের সাফল্যের মাধ্যম। যেমন হাদীসে এসেছে, ‘সিয়াম পালনকারীর জন্য দুটি আনন্দ :একটি হল ইফতারের সময় অন্যটি তার প্রতিপালকের সাথে সাক্ষাতের সময়।'[২৪]। ইফতারের আনন্দটি আপনি ইহকালেই ভোগ করতে পারবেন। আর অপরটির জন্য আপনাকে কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা করতে হবে। কেননা তখন প্রকৃতপক্ষে সকল মানুষ আল্লাহ্‌মুখী থাকবে।

6) Fasting means the success of this world and the Hereafter. As it came to the hadith, 'Two pleasure for the fasting: one is during the Iftar another one is during to meet up with Allah'[24]. You can enjoy the delight of Iftar in this life. And for the other you have to wait until the Day of Resurrection. Because, in reality, all people will be God-oriented.

৭) রোজা পালনকারীর মুখের গন্ধ আল্লাহর কাছে মেশকের চেয়েও উত্তম।একটা বিষয় স্পষ্ট করতে চাচ্ছি, সেটা হচ্ছে মুখের গন্ধ বলতে পেট খালি থাকার কারণে যে গন্ধ আসে সেটাকে বুঝায়। দাঁত অপরিষ্কার থাকার কারণে যে গন্ধ সেটা নয়। নবী করীম (সঃ) বলেন, ‘যার হাতে মুহাম্মাদ (সঃ) -এর জীবন, সে সত্তার শপথ, সিয়াম পালনকারীর মুখের গন্ধ আল্লাহ তাআলার কাছে মেশকের ঘ্রাণ হতেও প্রিয়।'[২৩]

7) The smelly mouth of the fasting person is better than Mesak to Allah. One thing is clear, that is the smell of mouth, which means that the smell that comes out of the stomach is empty. The smell that causes the teeth to become unclean is not. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'Whose hand is the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the oath of the Holy, and the smelly mouth of the fasting person, is also beloved to the scent of Mesak to Allah [23].

৮) রোজা কেয়ামতের দিন সুপারিশ করবে। হাদীসে এসেছে, আব্দুল্লাহ বিন আমর (রা:) থেকে বর্ণিত, নবী করীম (সঃ) বলেছেন : ‘সিয়াম ও কুরআন কেয়ামতের দিন মানুষের জন্য এভাবে সুপারিশ করবে যে, সিয়াম বলবে হে প্রতিপালক! আমি দিনের বেলা তাকে পানাহার ও যৌনতা থেকে বিরত রেখেছি। তাই তার ব্যাপারে তুমি আমার সুপারিশ কবুল কর। কুরআন বলবে হে প্রতিপালক ! আমি তাকে রাতে নিদ্রা থেকে বিরত রেখেছি, তাই তার ব্যাপারে তুমি আমার সুপারিশ কবুল কর। তিনি বলেন, অতঃপর উভয়ের সুপারিশই কবুল করা হবে।'[২৫]

8) Fasting will be recommended on the Day of Resurrection. It has been reported in the Hadith that Abdullah bin Amr (R :) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The fasting and the Quran will recommend to mankind on the Day of Resurrection that the fast will say,' O Lord! I prevented him from eating and drinking during the day. So you accept my recommendation. The Quran will say, O Lord! I have prevented him from sleeping at night, so accept my recommendation to him. He said, then the intercession of both will be accepted [25].

৯) রোজা হল গুনাহ মাফের কারণ ও গুনাহের কাফফারা। রোজা হল অনেকগুলো নেক আমলের সমষ্টি। আর নেক আমল পাপকে মুছে দেয়। আল্লাহ তা'লা বলেন : ‘সৎকর্ম অবশ্যই পাপসমূহ মিটিয়ে দেয় [২৬]। হাদীসে এসেছে, যে রমজান মাসে ঈমান ও ইহতিসাবের সাথে সিয়াম পালন করবে, তার অতীতের গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেয়া হবে [২৮]। ইহতিসাবের অর্থ হল: আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে পুরস্কার পাওয়া যাবে এ দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস রেখে নিষ্ঠার সাথে সন্তুষ্ট চিত্তে সিয়াম ও কিয়াম আদায় করা। হাদীসে আরো এসেছে, ‘পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত সালাত, এক জুমআ থেকে অপর জুমআ এবং এক রমজান থেকে অপর রমজান হল মধ্যবর্তী সময়ের পাপের কাফফারা, যদি কবীরা গুনাহ থেকে বেচে থাকা যায়। রোজা ছোট ছোট পাপগুলোকে মিটিয়ে দেয় আর তাওবা করলে কবীরা গুনাহ মাফ করা হয়।

9) Fasting is the cause of forgiveness and the expiation of sin. Fasting is the sum of many good deeds. And good deeds erased sin. Allah says: 'Good deeds surely accomplishes sins [26]. It has came to the Hadith, during the month of Ramadan who's performing the fasting with faith, his past sins will be forgiven. [28]. it means: It is possible to receive the reward from Allah, with the firm belief that it is to be well-pleased with fasting and fasting. Came to the another hadeeth, "Five times prayer, from one Jumu'ah to another next Jumu'a & from one Ramadan to another next Ramadan is the expiation of the sins of the intervening period, if anybody has to able to keep himself away from Kabira sins. Fasting minimizes small sins and if you repent then Kabira sin is forgiven.
